| My sister is an American girl who was raised with the Indian spiritual tradition of Raja Yoga. Her spirituality is very important to her, and she practices meditation and yoga every day. She is of western lineage with numerous important Presbyterian ministers in the family line. However, our mother has practiced Kriya for over 40 years with Self Realization Fellowship - Yogoda Satsanga Society of India. My sister is used to western traditions, but admires Indian culture.
She is sweet, nurturing of family, and friends, warm and makes friends easily. Yet she is also introspective, contemplative and independent.
She is a realistic oil painter and portraitist and her profession is important to her. She is educated with a BFA from a leading Art Institute and has post graduate professional Atelier study with some of the top oil painters in the world. While she loves her profession she also loves family.
In her spare time she likes to paint, draw, go to museums, spend time outdoors, garden, entertain and spend time with close friends and family. She also volunteers for women's and children's groups, and is interested in social issues and service.
